Two years, two SOC 2 audits, one platform.
Started as an internal gateway
The first version of UnitySVC was the metering layer behind Nimbus Vec's own vector DB business. We needed per-customer logs, alerts, and a wallet that worked across regions — and built it because none of the off-the-shelf tools handled vector reads at our cost shape.
Opened the marketplace
Three early seller partners — Scout Labs, Stitchwave, Oakstone — used the same gateway to publish their own services. The marketplace went public in August with 14 listings across LLM, embedding, and vector DB categories.
SOC 2 Type II · added storage and SMTP
Attested in May. Added object-storage and SMTP categories the same quarter — the back-end pattern of one wallet, one log, one invoice generalized cleanly past LLM workloads.
90 services · 6 categories · 99.99% gateway uptime
Public beta of the new web app (the one you're using). Recurrent jobs and a generalized BYOK model rolled out earlier this month. Sellers and customers now share a common chrome, but with the controls each role needs surfaced first.
